HEREND GUILD
| Herend launched the Herend Guild, their first collectors club created with a limited membership. For one day, April 25, 1998, Herend offered open enrollment. Everyone who applied on this date was guaranteed admittance even if the membership limit of 8,500 was exceeded. The limit of 8,500 was not met on April 25, 1998. A limited number of charter memberships were available, after April 25, to join the first Herend collectors club in their 172-year history. |

The first Herend Limited Edition

Herend offered Guild members the first limited edition figurine it has ever produced. This Members-Only Figurine featured Herend's trademark fishnet pattern hand-painted in 24K gold. In the future, this gold pattern will only be available on Herend Guild exclusive figurines.
If you purchased a Members-Only Figurine on April 25, 1998, your figurine will feature a special inscription signifying that you are a "Day One Charter Member." No other Herend figurines will ever be produced with such an inscription. Membership also includes their quarterly newsletter White Gold.
For 1999, the Guild Members-Only Figurine was the "Baby Giraffe." Hand-painted in 24K gold with the trademark fishnet pattern, this piece was only available to Guild members.
Beginning in 2001, Guild Members may order the Members-Only Figurine in natural or the fishnet pattern painted in 24K gold.
